On the other hand, my marriage is rock solid due to 'alone time' . We both have our separate interests that at times meant months away while I was in construction.
Before we married - long ago- it was agreed that children were a product, not a reason for our union. We love and care for them dearly, but more for each other.
We both are comfortable alone . Do not confuse alone with lonely. We both love rving.
She reads. I tinker. We fish. I hunt. She facebooks. we frequent wineries. Swap meets.
Then she says shes going to see Mom or a school buddy. She takes the rig. OK, I take the Harley go for an ABATE rally camping trip.
Children and grandchildren, love them dearly. Dont live for them. they dont for you.
