We can try to analyze it but I am sure that we can't get a true answer, just guesses.
The first glass lasted three years and then broke. What changed? Same roads? Trailer loaded the same? Three years , depending on the amount of use would probably eliminate a stress crack or a defect in the glass.
You then changed the glass. What kind of glass did you use? Regular window glass? Safety Glass? Glass from Dimplex? Have you contacted Dimplex? This is the first time I have ever heard of the glass breaking on there fireplaces.
