Dinette Bed

We have an 8ft camper and are looking to go bigger. One of our main concerns is the size (primarily width) of the dinette bed. We have two boys, 6 and 4, that share the bed. I can’t seem to find any info on width of dinette beds, all I ever find is length.
  • Does the brochure/manual say what size the dinette table is. Just askin'.

    JM2¢ ~~ YMMV
  • I had a friend that build a canvas cot bed over the dinette seats. They had a boy/girl and the smaller one was over the table bed in a cot. Every camper is different, so that is just a worthwhile point if you can design something.
  • I think you will find most to be between 40 and 48 inches.
It's not scientific nor absolutely precise, but remember that these trailers tend to be 8 feet wide. When looking at floorplans, you can literally take out a ruler and measure if the dinette is half as wide as the trailer overall and have a fair idea of how wide the dinette is.
