DINGHY TOWING

Just purchased a 2006 scion xa FWD 5 speed for the sole purpose of flat towing behind my Class C RV.I purchased this vehicle because Motorhome 2012 guide to dinghy towing did show scion as towable.Bought car at Carmax with 5 days to return if i didn't like it,meanwhile i did more research including speaking to Toyota service dept to verify if it could really be flat towed but answers were yes and no's, nobody really knew.Now just received new 2013 issue of Motorhome dinghy guide (which is day 6)can't return car now,and Motorhome guide to dinghy removed all scions as towable with no reason. I hope this only applies to the newer scions as mine is a 2006. Can i still flat tow my scion ? Would i need to install anything to the front end to make it safe ?
