Discount on fuel if paying with cash??

Not unusual in this area for stations to have a cash price and a credit card price a few cents higher. The station (or any business for that matter) has to pay the credit card company a fee for each credit card transaction. So they are passing that fee along to you.

We used to own a small business and the monthly fee for credit card transactions can add up to a significant amount.
