- valhalla360NavigatorThe agreement between business and credit card companies is that they can't charge more for credit card use.
But a loophole is they can offer discounts...for some reason, the credit card companies haven't closed the loophole.
But really, not worth the trouble unless you are burning an awful lot of fuel. - B_O__PlentyExplorer IIIn the grand scheme of things if it's that important to save a few dollars vs the convenience of stopping where you want, maybe you can't afford this trip. Just sayin.
B.O. - tomman58ExplorerMany credit cards give 5% saving on fuel so the difference for paying cash isn't even chump change. In fact many times you end up ahead by charging and not going around with a pocket full of cash while traveling.
- wildtoadExplorer IIMost stations here in SC give a break for cash/debit cards of a nickel. Many Pilot/Flying J’s have same price for cash or credit but give the Camping World discount. Sometimes they are the higher priced station even with the discount, sometimes they have better prices.

I stop where convenient for me fuel up and head down the road.. we also pay our cards off in full each month...
We have not paid interest on CC's in many years... It's a nice place to be and I a thankful for being able to do so.
ain't it though? :B - LibertyManExplorerMay I suggest TSD Logistics. The fuel card works at the pump where the big rigs fuel and saves big money. Works at all major truck stops as well. I have been using for several months and see an average of 30-45 cents cheaper than advertised. Here in Alabama I have saved as much as 54 cents per gallon at Loves. Do some research to find out more, there is also a good YouTube Video from Changing Lanes that talk about the fuel card.

Park at the pump. Walk into the store and wait in line while Bubba buys his lottery tickets. Hand the cashier some cash to get the pump turned on. Go back out and pump the fuel. Go back in and wait for Larry to pay for his hotdogs. Get your change.
Might I suggest leave the rig sit there at the pump and order 6 hot dogs prepared 3 different ways?
But I saved $2.50! Thanks for the chuckle! :B - BarabooBobExplorer IIIWe get a 5% rebate on out CC also. While on vacation that can add up pretty quickly. We have not paid interest on a CC in over 20 years. Last summer we got a customer loyalty card from a gas station chain in the Rockies. They offered 10 cents a gallon discount for the first 30 days that you have the card. I cashed in on that also if it was convenient. That came out to over .25 discount on our gas.

If your serious, Thank You... worked hard to get where we both are in life.. Learned at an early age that nothing is given to you and hard work is usually rewarded, no matter what badge is on the tow vehicle.- ivbinconnedExplorer IIIm happy for you FTG.
