Dish Tailgater

No problems with ours yet. Have had ours 3 years. It also has been in high winds and several storms.

Nope -- no problems here either. We lock ours onto our rig with a motorcycle chain/lock. :) :)

We have a platform clamped to the ladder for the Tailgater to sit on and have a motorcycle helmet net that holds it in place. We stay in Yuma & have had no issues with the wind.

Ours has sat out in high winds including thunder storms and has never blown over.

I place mine on the roof and bungee it to the ladder.

Mine has blown over in high winds twice. The second time was off a picnic table. No damage, but I now have it mounted permanently on a 2x12 which provides good ballast. No more problem.

We got one this season, it never blew over. I do plan on getting the window mount for it.

Well I'd almost pay someone to take mine. In clear view of the sats it almost never locks in on them, and that's running RG6 straight from the Tailgater to the receiver bypassing the 5er sat hookups. Its never been right since the day I got it. Very seldom do I ever get all the channels. I almost threw it in the lake last weekend. After two days of moving it, and three calls to dish tech,I finally gave up and watched regular tv.

Mine works great. I made a small wooden stand with legs that are about 3" high and a little wider than the base. The rubber pads on the bottom of mine just press into holes in the base. It makes it more stable but also keeps it up out of the water in a heavy rain.

Well, I've moved it around 'practicing' and testing. Found best after moving, unplug receiver for a bit to reset. Has worked just fine for me. Happy Dog here!
