Finally, after 8 years broke down and bought one from Dish. It is sweet, but curious about design. Looks like a basketball.I camp in the desert mainly in the winter around Gold Basin or Quartzsite which occasionally get some hi winds. Anyone have problems with them blowing over or around?Thanks, Shep

No problems with ours yet. Have had ours 3 years. It also has been in high winds and several storms.

Nope -- no problems here either. We lock ours onto our rig with a motorcycle chain/lock. :) :)

We have a platform clamped to the ladder for the Tailgater to sit on and have a motorcycle helmet net that holds it in place. We stay in Yuma & have had no issues with the wind.

Ours has sat out in high winds including thunder storms and has never blown over.

I place mine on the roof and bungee it to the ladder.

Mine has blown over in high winds twice. The second time was off a picnic table. No damage, but I now have it mounted permanently on a 2x12 which provides good ballast. No more problem.
