You might see if an RV repair shop is interested... maybe Paramount? They may not give you much for it, but they might take it off your hands.

I sold mine on craigslist. It took a while. Keep trying.

Craigslist in the free section. Put CURB ALERT in ad, set it out, it's gone. No phone calls etc.

Pin boxes rarely fail and if they get replaced, it's because people want to upgrade similar to what you did, so the resale market for the basic pin box is pretty much non-existent.

Scrap metal is about your best bet but not knowing the scrap values, I would be shocked if you got a $5 bill for your trouble.
