When shopping for a TT, we went to one dealer that assured us we could tow a monster (I forget how big) TT with our SUV. He was high pressure and I didn't believe him so we left.
We went straight to another dealer where the sales person was NOT high pressure and told us very realistically what we could tow.
We shopped around a little and came back to that second dealer to buy. Later we found out through friends that second dealer has a very good reputation.
Not all dealers lie, they are not all from the same mold. Just remember they are in business to sell rigs!
