Two different topics here, do all salesman lie, and do you go to work for a paycheck. I am in the service industry and never lie, but I do go to work to get a paycheck. To say all RV salesman lie is an untrue blanket statement, to say all RV salesman go to work to get a paycheck is probably fairly accurate.
I have seen a great many salespeople in my career and the ones that are the most truthful are also the ones that are the most successful in the long term.
As consumers we also need to accept some responsibility in self education. In this modern age if consumerism, internet, social media & instant communication, it is not that hard to do a little research when spending the significant dollars that an RV purchase is.
On the other hand,
"There's a mark born every minute, and one to trim 'em and one to knock 'em." is an old, old saying that was around a long time before the RV industry ever emerged.
So could we rephrase the question to rear "why are so many RVers as gulible as they are"?
