I agree that 90% of the campers will not read the warnings, fire fighters would do that though.
I would be thankful that the camp host would provide additional information on the storm warnings, and perhaps come around with a bullhorn when there is a iminate tornado warning in the area.
When I was in Michigan, the radio had a warning that there was a tornado on the ground in a certain county, but I had no idea what county I was located in. It would have been much more helpful if they had said there is a tornado on the ground west of Interstate # whatever and south or north of interstate 80. Then even people not living in that county would know where the tornado are located.
At least the camp host can tell you when the tornado is close. And get everyone to a safe place, like a brick bathroom. Make sure you bring a pillow with you, you might not want to go back out in the hail or dark weather not knowing if the tornado is close or not. And you can count on the power going out near the tornado, that happens to power lines when they are near trees and a tornado comes through. At least the average RV will have some working 12 volt lights still on.
