Yea I did the mop and glow but I missed cleaning some spots so it has some dirty streaks under the mop and glow , oh well
Once it wears off I’ll do a good job cleaning it then re mop and glow
I tried to wash it off after but it’s sealed

I don't know about that. Back when I sold auto parts, there was a body shop we dealt with that specialized in working on Corvettes. Unless I'm misremembering - and, yes, it was a long time ago - on really rough bodies they had to strip the old gel coat right off and put a new one on.

  • One of the advantages of having a fiberglass roof is that it doesn't need maintenance. Not everything will adhere to it so be careful. You could wind up with a mess. I would leave it alone.

  • A coating like that is said to reflect more of the sun than the fiberglass itself does, so the RV is said to stay cooler. Or so I hear. If I were spending a lot of time in the desert southwest, I might consider it for that reason.
  • I use a marine grade cleaner and wax on my roof each spring.
