Do slides block central hallways & baths?

Our last two TT's required me to put the slide out a foot or two to use the kitchen area.

Unless you have a Schwintek slide in which case you'll be hating life when it gets out of time and your slide gets stuck two feet out.

I have run my schwintek slide part way out (or part way in) many times. When I run it back in/out I hold the button for 3 seconds as recommended by the manufacturer. I have never had a problem with it getting out of time. I don't think running the slide part way out now and then is going to cause a problem. Running it in and out all the way without holding the button after the stop is more likely to cause a problem, and probably the way a lot of people are doing it.
