Do you always check your slides before closing?

Every time I close our slides I climb on the roof and inspect/sweep them before closing. I'm not thrilled with the walking on the roof, but haven't yet splurged on a telescoping ladder. Anyway, I ...

I'm no longer capable of getting on the roof, even with a ladder. I do walk around the MH before opening or closing the sides and the inspection includes a visual check from ground level. So far no problem, and it is the best I can do.
