Do you always check your slides before closing?

Every time I close our slides I climb on the roof and inspect/sweep them before closing. I'm not thrilled with the walking on the roof, but haven't yet splurged on a telescoping ladder. Anyway, I ...

I go up before we close them every time. It is part of our 'break camp' ritual. I also check all the skylights, the antennas, and the general condition of the roof.
