Do you always check your slides before closing?

If I didn't have the slide toppers I would use a ladder to check the slides. Seems to me that most roofs aren't the sturdiest thing around and the less stress you put on them the better. JMO of course. All it would take is one sharp object embedded in the sole of your shoe to ruin your day.
