We usually plan a lump sum amount for the season and plan around it. Sometimes it's a bunch of short trips and others a month at a time. But generally we stay close to our allotted funds.
This cost covers camping fees and gas only. Food isn't thrown into the calculations as we would have to pay for it at home too. Eating out would equal the same.
