Do you budget for vacation?

Turtle n Peeps, Yes and no! We budgeted, tried to spend/invest ( autos, tools, home, campers, etc.) wisely, and tried to have everything we should want or need paid off prior to my retirement ( we got real close). And, we’re both conservative (cheap) by nature, so.....we get by on less than many folks. We usually do lots of research on purchases, and try to get the best that we can afford. My father impressed upon me, many years ago, “ Poor people, can’t make poor decisions “! We try to live by that rule. It’s generally “less expensive “ to buy a premium product... than to replace that item several times.

Our trip/vacation budget is dependent upon how badly we want to do it. We don’t “crunch” numbers independently, just kinda look at the overall “guestimated “ cost....and proceed accordingly!
