Do you carry?
Folks: There are times each of us has nearly run out of fuel on a trip. Has anyone carried a 5 gallon can of fuel as a spare "just in case"?

Nope, doesn't take much planning to avoid running out if I'm not in a hurry. I start looking to stop for gas at half a tank, about 220 miles.
