Do you carry?
Folks: There are times each of us has nearly run out of fuel on a trip. Has anyone carried a 5 gallon can of fuel as a spare "just in case"?

I'm old Ok. So no I don't carry gas in a ungrounded can, or container that is not properly mounted / bolted, and designed for impact. Especially a plastic one. Explosions are ugly things.
And like others have said. In todays world. There is no excuse for letting yourself run out of fuel. there is a fuel station on nearly every corner. I start hunting a fuel station at 1/2 tank, Unless I know I am close enough to my destination to easily get there.
