Do you carry?
Folks: There are times each of us has nearly run out of fuel on a trip. Has anyone carried a 5 gallon can of fuel as a spare "just in case"?

I carry two 6 gal gas containers.
One is filled with 2 gals fuel at all times.
And here's why. Other than running out of fuel.
I have been at a CG SEVERAL times where the power has gone out from a storm or internal electrical power problems.
Yes I have a gen for supplemental power on the MH. And when that MH gas gauge even sniffs 1/4 tank my gen shuts off.
When a tornado hit the CG I was staying at the power was down for a week. Because I had those gas cans on board I was able to go get fuel and fill my MH up to keep the gen running for the duration of the power outage without having to pack up everything and try to move the MH thru downed trees and closed roads to get gas.
