Do you carry?
Folks: There are times each of us has nearly run out of fuel on a trip. Has anyone carried a 5 gallon can of fuel as a spare "just in case"?

We carry 5 gallons for generator and have once used it to add to our tow vehicle just to be sure we had enough to get into town. We do most of our RVing throughout the SW and Mountain West regions of the country, rest assured, if you had a 3/4 ton or 1 ton gasser tow vehicle with a small fuel tank your answer might be a little different.
