Only time I regret not going smaller is when I have to wax it:) Our 5'er is 28', has everything we need and can fit into most CG's pretty easy. We camp about 40-50 nights a year. When the wife retires I suppose we will regroup and take a look at what we may want if we hit the road for longer trips. Right now we wouldn't have a problem doing 1-2 months at a time. But jumping from a 28' to a 34-36' would definitely be nicer. So in a sense I really doubt we would ever down size with our currant and projected amount of use.
