Personally I prefer the smaler trailer. We use the Casita way more than we did the 5th wheel. When I go solo I just use my old AWD Astro van. Has everything I need to camp anywhere I want.
My wife would probably love a 40 ft RV with 4 slides but she isn't the one that has to take care of the darn thing.
I'm not retired and just do long weekend for the most part. When I retire in a few years I may completely change my attitude. Might have more time to take care of something a little bigger. Maybe a 19 fter.. (-:}
