I know this may sound a little silly asking this, but if you are in a quake zone and your house is destroyed how do you think the RV will survive? I wish you all the luck in the world.
You obviously don't live in earthquake country. I lived in Northridge at the time of the Northridge earthquake and it would have been nice to have an RV. First of all my dishes came flying out of the cupboards not a single dish left even plastic ones broke. Continual aftershocks at 5.0 were awful and was constantly worried if/when the roof would cave in. Mind you I lived two streets away from that infamous building that went from a 3 story to a 2 story.
If I had my RV I'd pull it out from my side yard to the front of the house. I would have all the creature comforts of my home including power from my generator. My food would not spoil as I would have a refrigerator. I'd also be able to run the heat which would be impossible if another big one hits as we were without power over 5days.
I just exercised my generator the other night, I keep extra fuel treated with Seafoam, extra H2O, propane and plenty of non perishables. I know how to hold my own in an earthquake.
