End of the day, not really about you guys as parents, and what you want to do.
It is about the Kiddo, if, he/she is happy, so are you.
Our GD is 12, we stay in KOA's my ideal choice no, hers, if it has a pool yes.
Others can say whatever they want, kids want kids to play with. Soon enough your daughter will have no interest in going with you.
enjoy this wonderful gift you have, you will have lot's of time to hang out with your wife, at more remote spots, but this time with your DD , will be gone in a very few years.
My opinion, embrace it and be thankful, to have that opportunity, because end of the day IT WILL NOT COME AGAIN
