Putting aside the real primitive camping we will do both. We do at least 1 trip per year where we meet up with a bunch of camping families, another trip is a camping/fishing trip where it will be just me and my boys.
When it's just DW & me we always will wave a hello or have a conversation with a neighbor if the situation presents it's self. Now thinking about this I would consider that all social too! :C
