I know this is sort of off topic, but somewhat related - last time we camped with family was in a FS CG - quite hours are 6am to 10pm. No generators. Yet, one night, 4th of July, a group of tenters in the group campground was up till 4am playing aboriginal music and horseshoes late and cheering. Woke me up. I had to go to the window to figure out what the acoustic noises were. No one complained to the host which when we mentioned it, didn't hear them. The host was an elderly couple and that could've been why. Yet, I'm sure if someone had run their genny, it would've been an issue.
