Hmmmmm
You know each of us has our way of doing things but that doesn't make our way better than any one else. They are not in our situations and possible if we were in theirs, things would be different.
I am more than pleased with our solar system but had I not found my panels so cheap or found a functional controller....I'd be running a generator every day like I did last year.
I'm lucky to live where the humidity is so low and we can go up in altitude where the AC isn't needed for the most part. let it get hot enough for those dogs to start panting which makes Honey start whining, well I'll pull the string because listening to a generator is a lot better than listening to the whine.
I bet if you gave people the ability to have cheap solar or someplace to go to escape the heat and they wouldn't need a generator either. The fact that they don't have those things doesn't make them bad, we are just lucky to have them.
