The ONLY time I share power, is if I offer it or we agree on sharing it. There are a few places with generator limits - not hours, as in you get 2 hours after 8 am, and 2 hours before 9pm (4 hours total between the times) to run generators. I "share" power with the neighbor. I power both of us for 2 hours off my genset, then he power both of us for 2 hours off his. Repeat in the PM after ~4:30.
