We just got back from an 8 day trip including four days boondocking in the desert at an event. The event had no generator restrictions. It got up to 110 degrees during the day. We have no dash air so we ran the generator almost the entire time we were gone. The only time it was off was about six hours each night in the desert when it cooled off enough for no A/C.
Total generator run time was in excess of 125 hours. I put in synthetic 5W-40 diesel oil since I knew it was going to be hot.
