Thanks, Oasisbob. You bring up a good point: cell phone dead zones. Daily contact would be important for us, so I should think about getting somewhere with a cell signal or wifi daily. Phone booths have gone the way of the dinosaur, but maybe it's possible to use a land line phone with a prepaid long-distance card??? Hmmm....
