Same thing with horse shows and horse parks, you will find quite a few if not a majority of rv's being piloted by women. This past week-end we were at a horse park in Florida and more than half the campers were women alone pulling very large trailers with living quarters. I watched a lady snake one of the 40' monsters into a spot I don't know if I would have tried.
With todays ability to communicate practically anywhere, the good emergency road service programs available, and the helpful attitude of almost all campers I think you good do this very easily.
