My husband works M-F. I work M-Thurs. We are seasonal campers with a killer lakeside site 1/2 hour from home. That 24 hours I spend solo camping until he arrives is like heaven to me. I can walk, sew, read or watch trashy daytime TV as much as I please. He looks forward to the fabulous dinner I have waiting for him on Friday night. No hauling, no set-up, no fuss for either of us.
Then when Sunday rolls around, maybe he'll stay and tinker or nap, then leave for work from there on Monday. I'd say this is a win-win all around.
