Does the Tow Dolly have a tag and insurance?
Never thought about it as I tow 4 down but did not have the answer.??? So is title and insurance withe the car being towed the dolly or the towing vehicle? TIA,

In Montana you CAN license a dolly and get a title if you want to, but it is not required.
Insurance is not required.
EDIT: If you do get a license plate, it would be a Trailer plate, so it would be PERMANENT registration. No renewal for as long as you own it!
