Traveling in the US we usually average $20 or less per night of camping and we still don't have our Golden Age pass (DH will turn 62 in May). There are usually a few free nights at Walmart included.
This summer we were in Atlantic Canada, the average per night was around $30. We were there for 2.5 months with no free nights. The entire trip cost $4500, but doesn't include groceries because I'd spend that regardless. We didn't eat out a lot. The more meals you can do in your MH the more economical food becomes.
As far as gas/fuel, the price will be what it is. Stay longer in one place when price is high to improve your average daily cost.
