And for those that know better than all the Jeep dealers, and all the owners manuals that do not allow towing on a dolly.

For the sake of this subject, the definition of "transmission" consists of the transmission assembly, including the transmission and transfer case as one assembly. Then if you think a little farther,.....if both shafts turning is ok, but only one shaft turning is not, don't you have to assume its the gears (like spider) in the transfer case that will be ruined ?? Wouldn't it be the same as one wheel spinning, and one wheel standing still on the same differential, causing the spider gears to spin way beyond their intended speed,.....which we all know will cause gear failure in time ??
There, I'm only guessing, using a little common sense, but that wasn't very hard for me to figure out.
But after saying all that, it doesn't make any difference, the fact still remains that a 4wd cannot be towed 2 down. And if the truth was known, that fact probably pertains to more 4wds than just the Jeep.
