I'm sorry to hear of your loss.
We don't have a bucket list we feel we "must do". We firmly believe we are all always where we should be doing what we should be doing at any point in time. It takes the pressure off and allows freedom to move at will, change our minds and be relaxed into life. Why should we all have a list of "must dos"?
When our dog died in 2010 we were very sorrowful. Our newbie/outsider neighbor bugged the beegeebers out of us insisting we must get out there and actively "find" a dog. He drove us nuts for 3 years to the point we had to end our relationship with him! We kept saying.."when we are meant to have another dog it will come to us". One day last August while we were down by the county road fixing fence a rural neighbor of ours came by with an Auzzie pup in his lap. I asked him "what ya got there?" He handed the 9 week old pup out the truck window to us and we knew the dog we were meant to have had indeed just "come to us". This same neighbor had called us a year before saying he had a litter of new pups and we declined to go see them knowing we just weren't ready despite the "bad" neighbor's disgust with us.
So, I do agree we should all do things we want to do but...don't pressure ourselves too much. God will bring us what we are meant to have and with perfect timing!;) We don't intend to live with regret over things we didn't do because we know if it were meant to be...it would have been. It's all about trust!
