DW Barbara (51 years) and I have always said that we never wanted to say, "We wish we had".
So we have done a lot of things - before and after my retirement at age 55 - some 19 years ago. Nno regrets.
We don't travel offshore any more - we love the RV life. Well, not exactly true as our daughter lives in London so we are going over to see her for brief visit.
I made a decent salary; we were, I guess, upper middle class.
Now we live on Soc Sec and investments (which tanked pretty bad a few years ago) and no pensions.
We do ok - don't have all we want but have all we need.
We love the RV life; have no desire for fancy cruises.
One day I will be gone. I don't want to say, "I wish I had."
