My Father died at 73 just a few days after his b-day my sister died at 59 a month after her b-day I think both of them had bucket lists that will not be filled. I have taken a different approach , 10 years ago I sold my larger company with employees and started a smaller 2 person business. I within reason set my hours and work dates the internet, cell phones , skype and other neat technology allow me to be on the road and fulfilling my bucket list. I have a couple thousand a month in pension, I can take my ss soon and all of my medical costs including drugs are 100% covered.I have an older MH that we keep up and running well. So I travel as much as I can and work toward seeing the many graces of our country. I see far too many of my friends not filling their desire to travel and enjoy and as soon as they are gone their children are retiring and enjoying for them.
Nice post!!
It's a very delicate balancing act. We have to properly "spend some" and "do some" throughout our lives. Be thankful that we live in a country and place on this Earth where we still are able to even make life-choices like these. Many in this world live each day not knowing where their food, shelter, and clothing are going to come from that day.
