Don't try living off the grid in your own house!

If she was using municipal sewer, was she truly "off the grid"? Partially, sure, but not totally. Expecting to be able to dump waste into the municipal sewer system for free is totally idiotic and everyone else in that city paying for their service should be outraged...she is basically making them pay for her service. Sewer services are not without cost to the city. They have lots of variable and fixed costs that must be covered.
