Door rattles in the wind.. solution

We usually have our outer entry door open and use the plastic door latch to hold the door. When it is windy, the door rattles. We punctured a tennis ball on opposite ends and inserted the latch long piece through the tennis ball. No more rattle. We leave it on the latch pin while traveling.
