Bottom line is that if any particular state does not allow double towing no driver's license endorsement will make it legal.
I don't necessarily agree but that doesn't make me right either. I'm not convinced just yet that another state can say my license is VOID in there state. And my license says I'm legal to double tow.
Legal matter maybe.
Well, if you want the absolute last, final & legal word and chose to ignore any advise given, your only recourse is to contact the DOT in the states and get the OFFICAL ruling. It is not an issue with your state license, its obeying the traffic laws where you are travling.

Respectively Jim, These aren't traffic laws. They are 'State Statutes", if that make a difference, I don't yet know.

Mr. Google or Miss Bing will be more than happy to direct you to the DOT sites and either there will be listings on the site or a contact number where you can speak with a human. Problem solved!

Well, I did check with Florida and a nice State Police Lt said you guys were right.
Looks like I'll be revising my travel plans for wintering down south. Not welcome in Alabama, Georgia, North or south Carolina either. Not good news. The wife will be very disappointed. (as am I)
