I understand, Bill and I really wouldn't be concerned about that. The bike is in an enclosed and LOCKED trailer. On that matter, I'd be more concerned about whether the authorities would allow it there or 'tow it' causing me even more problems and cost.
As far as leaving it and returning later to retrieve it would not be a problem.
When we come to Florida, we don't spend our time driving around double towing. Once we get to where we're going, the units are disconnected 'til we leave Florida again.
