Drive Shaft Disconnect

I have a 2006 Toyota 4Runner 2 wheel drive that I am thinking of going with the drive shaft disconnect. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Been using one going on 20 years with no issues. Lubricate the cable and mechanism with dry silicone twice a year.
