I posted this summer about having a driveshaft disconnect installed on my 2006 Toyota 4 Runner. Well I did it and I have to it hasn't gone well so far. After along drawn out install I took my truck home and noticed there was something leaking from the rear end! I called the dealer and they said there was nothing they had done that would cause this to happen. Well I took it back in today and wouldn't you know they found it was their mistake! I don't understand all this stuff, but I can tell you some part of the shaft was ground down too much so that it would fit into a u bolt that would hold it in place. The last I was told is they may patch the hole by sauntering it? Any ideas if this is the right fix? I am so mad I can't post what I want to say! Thank you for your replies in advance.
