Regarding Roundabouts/rotaries or whatever you wish to call 'em.
The one in the first photo above is a good one, It is big enough to enter and exit safely and I have seen many of them, Including the one in Marshall, MI which was only a few miles from where I grew up.
Well.... The problem I see today in Michigan (And some other states) is the idiots have decided those are safer than the "X" type intersection (Which may well be true if they are done right) but they are putting in tight little circles that have an inside radius not much different from the length of my Motorhome plus towed.. Those puppies scare the .. Stuff.. Out of me. They are just too small a large vehicle needs both the inner and outer lane and will still likely jump the curb making the effect of a right turn. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING.
The Brooks Fountain roundabout in Marshall though.. Is a nice big one.
