Driving around those stupid roundabouts

In the nearest city close to us they are replacing stop lights. There is a new road that has a roundabout on every intersection. They move traffic along if they are used properly as well as made big enough. I don't know how many accidents there has been with buses or tractor trailers trying to get through. With the snow we have had it has made things confusing for some people, the roads are so narrow in the circles it is like a whole lane has been lost.
When I go back to England I really don't notice the roundabouts as much. They just flow smoothly, you don't know they are there.
