A decade ago I was at an Autocross meet with my sportscar .
There were several young guys who were very good in machinery a fifth of the cost of mine .
As a nearby group of young men were cheering their buddy through the autocross course , I asked " Have you guys been to a ( race-car ) driving school ? "
One of the young men replied " Nope , that's Larry and he delivers pizzas and practices on the roundabouts in Bend " .
